Blast! It has just come to my attention that Bianca has already attracted the attention of two other men! This will not do! I colour myself as handsome but these two other men, What if they have already won her affection? No! I must make a plan, and quickly!

I have arrived in Padua, the stories were true! This is truly a place of beauty and knowlege! Following arrival I saw an angel, her soft voice and radiating beauty captured my heart the moment I laid my eyes upon her. If my ears haven’t failed me, her name is Bianca, such a beautiful name for so fair a woman. I now know I must make her mine, but to do so I shall have to be cunning. I will ponder this as I sleep tonight.

Hello, my name is Lucentio, this is my first blog and I will be chronicling my venture to the nearby city of Padua. I leave tomorrow to learn philosophy at Padua’s university of wide renown.
