Attention

Oh dear, Yesterday was a horrible day.

My sister was to be married to the dear fellow Petruchio, however he did not show up and everyone started to go mad. I felt so bad for Kate, I stood by her and she was almost swimming in tears. I don't think I've ever even seen Kate cry. It made me realize that maybe she is just as vulnerable as everyone else.

However, he did end up coming..after the ceremony and started acting like a fool. I was so shocked at his actions, but then he took Kate away and I don't know what happened after that.

Lucentio and I hung around with eachother for the rest of the night, agreeing we did not want our wedding to happen like my sisters..

Anyways I just wanted to wish the best of luck to Kate and Petruchio, and that I love my sister, very much.

Oh boy, my friends I am feeling somewhat exhausted.

I have been thinking, and thinking and thinking. And I have come to the thought that being myself is hard. My sister thinks its the easiest thing to be pretty, and nice, and fair...but I must tell you it surely is not. I try very hard to look decent for my suitors, and for all of Padua. And well, I am truthfully not a hateful person but there is soooo much pressure to being me.

I mean, how would you feel if all your life all anyone ever expects you to be is perfect?! Everyone in Padua knows me as the "perfect Bianca". I have to live up to so many expectations and I can never just be and do what I want to. My sister can. She can say and think whatever she wants and feels. I hold my tongue and act like a good little girl should. Whats the fun in that?

And my daddy, all he does is beg me "not to be like your sister, so that one day you can make a man happy".

I'm not trying to say that I dislike my life, becase there are also some really great things! Like getting my daddies side in arguements or being complimented by people I've never even met before! However, I do wish I could have a bit more fun in life!

Okay, so this is where I need to share some things. I need to tell you how I feel.

Of my three suitors, I think I'm starting to like Lucentio the best. He's smart, and funny and strong and I get goose bumps around him. Hopefully father, thinks he is right for me and that he has enough riches to offer us. I have a feeling everything will turn out, right. Oooh, I think I'm in looovee.

Oh! And want to hear something even better!? My sister is getting married! SHE IS GETTING MARRRIED! TO A MAN!  He is a very rich man and his name is Petruchio and he is very stubborn..he's absolutely the most perfect thing for her! I am extremely excited and overjoyed for her, and I can't wait to help with the wedding!

We are going to get her dress on Wednesday! YAY!!

PS. After Kate is married..it means I am allowed to get married too!

UGHHH!!!!

I had a horrible experience today. I got into an awful situation when Katherine tied me up with rope and sat me down on a chair and asked me a million questions about my suitors! I had nothing to say about them, so I kept my mouth shut and she slapped me! I know just as well as anyone else I can't compete with that wicked tongue!

And I honestly found it extremely bizarre for her to be asking so many questions and therefore I assumed she wanted one of my suitors for herself so I told her she could have them. I do not care that much about them..because in the end if Kate doesn't get married before I do..Daddy will never let me wed!!!! And who am I kidding? My sister is the most dreadful, unloving, and unkind SHREW in all of Padua. NO one would ever want to marry her!

Hello All!!

I have some fine news today! It is kind of big!

I found out that I have three suitors! These are three men, that want my hand in marriage! One goes by, Grumio. The other is Hortensio, and the last is called Lucentio.

I shouldn't gloat about it for my dear sister will surely be upset I'm even writing about this, but I am very overjoyed and feeling all giddy inside.

I must go meet for a walk now with my teachers Litio, and Cambio...

Hey Everyone!

So, this is my very first blog ever and I'm pretty excited to start! I don't really have any personal hobbies other than my music lessons, and school lessons so this will definitely be a first!

Okay, I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Bianca Minola and I live in Padua, Italy. I live in a house with my dad Baptista and my elder sister Katherine. (ha, or as she would say, "Not Katherine the Shrew..KATE!)

Anyways, my family is great. We have some fun times and our fair share of little disputes but we get by.

Oh, I wish I had more to tell you all..however I'm somewhat shy I'll write again soon though!
